Lest We Forget American Ideals

Regardless of which candidates you might favor, it is essential that we remember the American ideals and the foundation of our freedom. Watch this video:

Watch this one, too, to see how much we’ve already lost.

Creeping Totalitarianism in the USA – Where and When Will People Take a Stand?

America and the world have for a long time been sliding toward totalitarian government. One essential feature of such government is tight control over citizens’ movements and activities. That kind of control requires a system of “positive personal identification.” Congress recently took another step in that direction by passing the “Real ID Act.” It requires that states harmonize their license issuing procedures and that licenses carry a rfid chip that can be electronically read from a distance.
Part of the act is slated to be implemented by May 11, 2008. Read about it and ask your state legislators to refuse to comply. – thg

Why the ‘Real ID’ Act is a real mess

(FindLaw) — In May 2005, Congress passed the “Real ID” Act, which requires states – starting in May 2008 — to issue federally approved driver’s licenses or identification (ID) cards to those who live and work in the United States.

The Psycho-spiritual Cause of Disease

I’m not a medical expert but I have been a long-time student of nutrition and health. It seems to me that the weight of evidence supports a hypothesis that physical disease may be in large part caused by one’s state of mind, including attitudes and beliefs and traumatic experiences that have not been adequately processed. Dr. Mercola reports on research that is consistent with that hypothesis. Here is an excerpt:

“German New Medicine (GNM), developed by Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, M.D., operates under the premise that every disease, including cancer, originates from an unexpected shock experience.”

Israeli study says regular mobile use increases tumour risk

This article was reported at http://www.worldhealth.net/. View it here.

Regular use of mobile telephones increases the risk of developing tumours, a new scientific study by Israeli researchers and published in the American Journal of Epidemiology revealed on Friday.

An extract of the report seen by Israel’s Yedoit Aharonot newspaper put the risk of developing a parotid gland tumour nearly 50 percent higher for frequent mobile phone users — more than 22 hours a month.

The risk was still higher if users clamped the phone to the same ear, did not use hands-free devices or were in rural areas.

“Analysis restricted to regular users or to conditions that may yield higher levels of exposure (eg heavy use in rural areas) showed consistently elevated risks,” said an abstract of the report in the US journal made available to AFP.

The study included 402 benign and 58 malignant incident cases of parotid gland tumour diagnosed in Israel at age 18 years or more, in 2001-2003.

The research was led by Dr Siegal Sadetzki, a cancer and radiation expert at the Chaim Sheba Medical Centre in Israel and as part of a World Health Organisation project.
