While some might find tangential to your main point of posting this fascinating article, I would be curious to know to what degree you have explored the phenomena of shamanic/entheogenic methods of perturbing so-called “normal” or baseline waking consciousness as a means for comparing/contrasting and exploring the boundaries between self and other and self and the organic matrix in which human life is arising.
